Brother and Sister With Books on Their Heads

About

We are Nolensville Christian Academy (NCA).

Nolensville Christian Academy exists to inspire and support homeschool families to keep Christ in the center of their homes and their child’s education as they: reclaim the innocence of childhood, the authority of parenthood, while enjoying the blessings of community.

We offer a homeschool hybrid experience. We are Christ followers who are passionate about discipling children in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Nolensville Christian Academy meets two days a week and partners with families in providing the best Christ-centered education for their child(ren). Nolensville Christian Academy is more than just a school; it is a symbol of hope for students in their most crucial years.

Nolensville Christian Academy believes in partnering with parents to educate the whole child. Our goal is to cater to the individual learning style/ability of each student. We will accomplish that by having smaller class sizes that allow teachers to foster each child’s individual needs.

Nolensville Christian Academy does not believe in letting children wade out in the water without first teaching them to swim. We aim to equip all students with the tools and confidence to be a shining light for Christ in this dark world. We look forward to partnering with families in raising bold disciples for Christ

How we educate...

3 Days per week students do at home academic work from lesson plans individualized to your child’s stage in development

2 Days per week students will have on-campus Instruction featuring hands-on activities, organic and intimate learning, and showcasing the week’s work and projects

Lessons that are connected to God in every way we can. Teaching history and science through the bible. Teaching students to be disciples. Inspiring a love for learning.

School & Parent Partnership

We know that committing to the journey of homeschooling can feel overwhelming. We exist to hold the hands of our families (and sometimes carry them!) as they walk this path. Our professional team of teachers thoroughly vets our curriculum and maps our lesson plans for the success of our students and their parent teachers. With clarity much like a recipe, parents can step into their homeschooling days with ease and confidence.  In addition to lesson mapping, we offer parent orientations, mentorship from our on-campus teachers and curriculum lessons to help you feel as prepared as possible

What we strive to teach...

NCA strives for excellence in all pursuits, teaching students to diligently accomplishing each task.

NCA teaches students to speak and write persuasively with wisdom and kindness.

NCA teaches reading deeply with a love for learning, reason truthfully and rigorously.

NCA teaches and instills a lifelong pursuit of learning.

NCA teaches students to diligently work to master the primary academic disciplines, including a thorough grasp of history, geography, art, music, literature, poetry, writing, mathematics and the sciences.

Lastly, and most importantly, NCA teaches students to see God’s hand and God’s master design in all studies.

What we believe and instill...

  • We believe in educating while glorifying God.
  • We believe in the One True God, creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son. That He was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived a perfect life, was crucified, died, was buried, and on the third day rose again from the dead. That He sits at the right hand of the Father, whence He will come to judge both the living and the dead.
  • We believe that all of creation gives glory to the Creator therefore, works of literature, art, music, and architecture are studied with Christian principles and philosophies as foundational doctrines.
  • We believe that the child’s first and foremost teachers are his parents. The job of educating the child must always be a priority of the Christian parent (Deuteronomy 6:7-8).
